YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 10-year-old girl and a man who were struck by a mini-van at a Fair Lawn intersection tonight sustained injuries that police said weren’t considered life-threatening.
Although witnesses at first said they thought the girl was more seriously hurt in the 5:27 p.m. crash, Police Lt. Joseph Dawicki told CLIFFVIEW PILOT the preliminary indications are that she and the 37-year-old man who were struck will survive.
The driver remained at the scene of the crash, at the intersection of Fair Lawn Avenue and Abbott Road.
Both victims were taken by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center following the 5:50 p.m. crash.
