YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A fire roared through a Rochelle Park strip mall overnight.
The fire began in Maguro, a takeout sushi restaurant, before 12:30 and eventually blew through the roof of the Rochelle Avenue mall near Passaic Street.

Maywood, Saddle Brook, and Paramus fire departments assisted Rochelle Park. Elmwood Park, Fair Lawn and Lodi firefighters handled mutual aid.
The sushi restaurant was gutted, Ted’s Deli was severely damaged and the rest of the mall sustained varying degrees of fire, smoke and heat damage, fire officials said.
