YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST: A driver was hospitalized this afternoon with injuries that police said didn’t appear life-threatening after losing control of his Chrysler Sebring convertible, which slammed into a curb off Route 17 in Saddle River.
A paramedic unit from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood assisted basic life support ambulance workers at the northbound highway exit ramp onto eastbound Allendale Avenue.
Saddle River firefighters disconnected the vehicle battery.
