YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST: A 36-year-old hiker was airlifted from the from the steep, rocky cliffs along the Hudson River in Alpine after she apparently broke her ankle while walking along the Hudson River this afternoon.
An NYPD helicopter joined rescue teams in extricating the woman from a steep cliffside area of washed-out stone near the shoreline.
The chopper flew her from there to a baseball field in Piermont, where a waiting ambulance whisked her to Nyack Hospital just before 4:30 p.m.
