ONLY ON CVP: Two separate motor-vehicle crashes with moments of one another sent two people to the hospital with injuries that weren’t deemed life-threatening and tied up traffic at the busy interchange of Routes 4 and 17 this afternoon.
A BMW and Kia sedan were involved in the more serious of the two collisions just before 1 p.m. on westbound Route 4 just east of 17, which left the Kia facing the wrong way on a ramp.
They were removed by a flatbed tow truck.
Paramus and Bergen County police and two Paramus ambulances responded.
