ONLY ON CVP: A grand jury in Hackensack last week indicted an illegal Mexican immigrant on sex and endangerment charges after a 13-year-old Wallington youngster reported seeing him in a driveway as he walked to school – two weeks after a similar incident in town involving two girls.
Tomas Flores, 27, remained held on $100,000 in the Bergen County Jail.
The student dialed 911 on May 19 and provided a description to Wallington police, who immediately responded and found Flores across the street, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said at the time.
A detective from Molinelli’s Special Victims Unit interviewed the youngster at Wallington police headquarters, after which Flores was charged, the prosecutor said.
On May 6, two girls – one 12 and the other 13 – told detectives that they saw Flores masturbating in the same area, Molinelli said.
Federal authorities have issued a detainer for Flores, who is single and worked as a custodian, in case he makes bail.
