YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A Ridgewood man initially accused of secretly capturing images of a 17-year-old girl was arrested by Bergen County prosecutor’s detectives who said he downloaded more than 100 images and 25 videos of child pornography.
Scott Selders, 49, of Brookside Avenue, was being held on $20,000 in the Bergen County Jail, charged with child endangerment through possession child pornography, along with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
“As a result of a court authorized search warrant at Selder’s residence, his computer and additional items were seized that contained these images and videos,” Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli. “Also seized were a small amount of marijuana and related drug paraphernalia.”
Selder, who sells custom-designed painted plates and Frisbee golf-like discs on eBay (photo above) has worked part-time at a Hunter Mountain ski resort and previously taught tennis during the summer.
He’s scheduled for arraignment tomorrow afternoon in Ridgewood Municipal Court.
