YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: An unattended package found at the George Washington Bridge bus station in Washington Heights last night contained 1,000 or so various brands of condoms, Port Authority police said.
Someone left the silver satchel behind a concrete “jersey barrier” next to the waiting room doors of the bus station, which is undergoing a major renovation, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.

A Port Authority canine unit was summoned and indicated no explosives were in it, he said.
Officers then opened the package and found the condoms, which were vouchered.
“Thus far, no owner has come forward,” Pentangelo said this morning.
