YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A T-bone collision in Ridgewood this afternoon sent one driver to the hospital and left the other without any serious injuries.
A Toyota Camry was struck by a Honda Passport at the intersection of South Van Dien Avenue and Grove Street, trapping the Camry driver until members of the Ridgewood Fire Department freed her with the Jaws of Life.
The Ridgewood Volunteer Ambulance Corps took her The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with undetermined injuries.
The other driver refused medical aid at the scene.
Both vehicles were removed by flatbed tow truck.
Meanwhile, westbound traffic on Grove Street and northbound traffic on South Van Dien Avenue was detoured temporarily.
Ridgewood police are investigating.
