ANOTHER CVP SCOOP: A 57-year-old Chinese national from River Vale was being held on sex assault charges following his arrest by borough police.
Rong Fa Xu was charged with sexual assault by force after an “adult female acquaintance” called River Vale police at 6:20 a.m. yesterday and said he molested her in her home, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.
Xu, who lives on Fondiller Street and works in a Montvale restaurant, was still at the woman’s home when police arrived, the prosecutor said.
He was being held on $150,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail following his arrest by River Vale police and Molinelli’s Special Victims Unit.
