UPDATE: A Pentacostal church in Hackensack was cleared in the middle of baptisms yesterday when workers using a heat gun on exterior paint ignited a fire yesterday.
Firefighters quickly had the small 12:30 p.m. blaze at Mount Holiness Temple under control, but not before smoke and water damaged the second floor, responders said.
No injuries were reported.
